Dear Cub Scout Parents, I am excited to be given the opportunity to be your son's Cubmaster. With the help of the Pack Committee and Den Leaders I am confident that we will have an excellent Scouting Program this year. Attached is our Pack calendar for 2011-12 school year. It outlines all Pack activities managed by volunteers on the Committee. In addition, you will receive a separate communication from your Den Leader on your son's Den meeting schedule. Your scout will also have the ability to participate in several other local scouting events put on by North Trail District. We will communicate these events on our website when announced or you can sign up for North Trail’s weekly e-mail newsletter at www.northtrail.org. Our next Pack Meeting is Sept 16 at 7pm in SJCS cafeteria. Each month I will be emphasizing one of the core values of Cub Scouting. This month we will be discussing Cooperation. We will be handing out awards, singing, and welcoming new scouts into our Pack. Please plan on joining us for a fun filled evening. Here are a couple of brief notes from our Committee:
